Eric Rendell
Bass Guitarist.

Eric began playing drums at the early age of 7, and picked up the bass guitar by age 12 after receiving the bass from his mother as a birthday gift. Eric was influenced early on by the percussion styles in the band of legendary James Brown. With the support of his family, Eric became a successful musician himself. Eric broke into the professional music scene when he joined his first band "The Shades of Black." Eric went on to play with many famous acts, including Black Velvet, Tomorrow's Children, and Omni. Eric's band traveled and performed with other famous main stays of the music scene, like Pookie Hudson & the Spaniels; as well as forging friendships along the way with great musicians like the King of Funk "George Clinton", and Jerome Rodgers who brought him into that organization ("The Mod"); along with Don Davis of United Sounds Groovesville Recording.

Eric enjoys his music and says: "Praise God, Amen" for the successful road he has traveled and the great experiences along the way. . the Eric Rendell chapters are still being written!!
